Guelph therapists who are compassionate, curious humans.

We are two Registered Social Workers in Guelph, working with individuals, couples, teens, and adults. See us in person on Surrey Street, or by video anywhere in Ontario and Alberta.

Meet Our Guelph Therapy Team

We’re two therapists in the Royal City with different training and different lives, but we both share the same idea… We think change happens in relationships with other people. So we start with our relationship with you, and we work hard to make sure our sessions feel like a safe place to land.

We know how hard it is to pick a therapist, and we understand that you can’t tell much from a photo and a paragraph. That's what our first call is for — it’s free, by phone or video. Book yours now!

“Golden Horizons came out of my own experience with relational trauma and grief. It’s built on some hard years that taught me that we heal through connection. I’ve been lucky enough to have a handful of relationships that proved this, so Golden Horizons is my thank-you to them.” -Paige

My approach is authentic, approachable, and down-to-earth. As someone who’s struggled in my own relationships, but has also been invited to heal and grow in my own relationships, I firmly believe that to be connected is to feel well. This is the foundation of my practice – safe, trusting, authentic connection. I’m passionate about creating a space for you to be human, inviting all emotions to be held with curiosity and compassion. I also believe that humour and laughter can support you in fostering deep, meaningful relationship to self and others.

I take on a deeply relational and embodied approach to therapy, that is conversational and exploratory. I work with you to step back into your body in a way that nourishes your nervous system and allows you to reconnect with yourself, others, and life around you.

On a Personal Note:

Outside of therapy, I’m a human who feels deeply and laughs often. I love a good coffee and croissant combo, binge watching reality tv, hanging out with my three rescue dogs, traveling to new places, and exploring different forms of movement (right now I’m loving CrossFit and indoor volleyball).

At Golden Horizons Therapy Collective, we provide human-first therapy in Guelph and virtually across Ontario.

My approach to therapy is warm and relational. You don’t have to show up as the version of yourself that you think I would expect or need to see. Whatever you bring to session, we’ll be curious about it together.

I'm a Cambodian-Canadian social worker who thinks a lot about how our culture and our families shape us and how we understand ourselves, and how they sometimes put pressures on us that are much bigger than we could imagine. If the identities you hold are tangled up with your relationships, your sense of your own worth, or where you feel you belong, we can work on that together.

The way I work is collaborative and reflective. You know more about your own life than I ever will, so a lot of what we do is getting you back in touch with that, and then building something steadier on top of it.

On a Personal Note:

Outside of therapy, I love being around my family, my friends, and my animals. You’ll often find me on a nature walk, trying a new form of movement (adult swim lessons, currently), or café hopping with a warm drink. I’m equally happy on the couch with a good show and a bowl of snacks.
